What This Formula Provides
This formula combines D-mannose, a simple sugar that helps prevent certain bacteria from adhering to urinary tract walls rather than working like an antibiotic, with cranberry extract (proanthocyanidins, similarly studied for reducing bacterial attachment) and vitamin C, which has an established, EU-authorised role in normal immune function. As covered in more detail in our urinary and kidney health guide, both D-mannose and cranberry have genuine research behind reducing UTI recurrence, particularly for women with frequent infections — though it’s important to be accurate that neither is a treatment for an active infection; persistent or severe UTI symptoms need proper medical assessment and, where appropriate, antibiotics, not a supplement instead.
Two practical safety points worth knowing: cranberry can enhance the effect of warfarin and other blood-thinning medication, so it’s worth discussing with your GP before regular use if you take these. D-mannose is generally considered low-risk for blood sugar, but if you’re diabetic and monitor glucose regularly, it’s worth being aware that D-mannose is itself a sugar, and mentioning regular use to your GP or diabetes team.
D-mannose in this formula is corn-derived. The formula is vegan and vegetarian-friendly, tested in independent labs for quality. Take capsules as directed with water, ideally alongside good hydration generally, since fluid intake matters for urinary tract health regardless of any supplement. Speak to your GP before use if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, have diabetes, or take regular medication.
