What This Product Provides
Each softgel delivers 1000 IU (25mcg) of vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol — a genuinely reasonable, moderate dose that sits comfortably within commonly referenced ranges for year-round general use, rather than the higher-strength products (3000-4000 IU) sometimes marketed for this purpose without the same caution. As covered in more detail in our complete vitamin D guide, vitamin D has an established, EU-authorised role in normal immune function, cell division, and normal absorption of calcium and phosphorus relevant to bone and teeth health — all accurately reflected in this product’s claims.
Worth being clear about the source: this product is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. The vitamin D3 is derived from lanolin (sheep’s wool), and the capsule shell uses bovine gelatine — this is standard, effective D3, but distinct from vegan D3 sources (typically derived from lichen), which some other products on the market use instead.
Since vitamin D is fat-soluble, taking it with a meal containing some fat improves absorption.
Sourced from Germany, non-GMO, free from artificial colours and flavours, manufactured in the UK to GMP and BRC standards. Take one softgel daily with a full glass of water; 365 softgels provide a full year’s supply. Not suitable for under-18s. Speak to your GP before use if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication, or under medical supervision.
