This tincture is made from organically grown, freshly harvested dandelion root and leaves, extracted in alcohol at 50% v/v — a genuinely high alcohol content that isn’t mentioned in general marketing for this product but is relevant to know before use. At the standard dose (15 drops, three times daily), this delivers a meaningful, if modest, total alcohol intake across the day.
It’s important to directly correct one point: this product is not suitable for pets, including dogs. Alcohol is genuinely toxic to dogs even in small amounts, and a 50% alcohol tincture is not appropriate for animal use regardless of dosage adjustment — if you’re looking for dandelion support for a pet, this needs to be a product specifically formulated and dosed for veterinary use, not a human alcohol-based tincture.
