What This CoQ10 Supplement Provides
Each vegan capsule delivers 200mg of naturally fermented CoEnzyme Q10 in its standard ubiquinone form. As covered in more detail in our complete CoQ10 guide, CoQ10 has genuine, well-established roles in cellular energy production and antioxidant protection, and natural levels are understood to decline with age, particularly from around 40 onwards.
Statin medication is understood to reduce the body’s natural CoQ10 levels, which is why some people taking statins discuss CoQ10 with their GP. It’s worth being precise about this, though: whether supplementation reliably resolves statin-related muscle discomfort specifically remains genuinely uncertain in research, rather than an established, guaranteed benefit — a reasonable topic to raise with your GP rather than something to assume will work.
This is a standard ubiquinone formulation rather than the reduced ubiquinol form — as covered in our full guide, independent research generally shows no significant absorption difference between the two forms, so ubiquinone remains a genuinely reasonable, often more cost-effective choice rather than a lesser one.
Ingredients: CoEnzyme Q10, vegetable capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose), rice flour. Free from common allergens (gluten, soya, lactose, nuts), non-GMO, manufactured in GMP-certified UK facilities with batch testing for purity.
CoQ10 has mild blood-thinning properties, worth knowing if you take anticoagulant medication. Take one capsule daily with a meal containing some fat for better absorption. Speak to your GP before starting if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, take prescription medication, or have an existing health condition. Not suitable for under-18s.
